Clarks Summit United Methodist Church

Pastor John Mackey has been appointed as Pastor of the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church effective July 1, 2020.

Pastor John is a lifelong United Methodist. He grew up in Chambersburg, Pa and attended Elizabethtown College and Yale Divinity School. He completed his studies at Wesley Theological Seminary while interning at Mt. Vernon Place UMC in Washington D.C. and was appointed to his first pastoral appointment at the Claysburg Charge in 2016.

Alison and Pastor John have been married for 5 years and have a daughter, Millie, who just turned two in April. They also have two dogs, Maizey and Nylah. They are also certified foster parents and have welcomed a number of foster children into their home and their hearts. Alison is an elementary school teacher.

We are excited to welcome the Mackey Family to CSUMC and look forward to getting to know them!
